‘And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.’
Mark 2:22
‘Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.’
Ephesians 5:18-20
New Wine’s primary focus is on enabling church leaders to communicate effectively the good news of God’s promises in this generation. Being a Christian isn’t a life to be lived alone, but within effective relationships and family. The New Wine network is designed to nurture these relationships, connecting church leaders to equip, inspire and encourage each other to serve their churches and communities.

Our Vision
Our vision is to see local churches changing nations.
We want to encourage a renewal of all things by uniting church members and their leaders, to understand and agree their vision so that, together, all individuals can work towards a new way of being God’s people.
We want to provide an effective way of engaging with God and his kingdom for every generation, acknowledging existing culture and evolving appropriately.
We want to empower and equip leaders to live out and grow God’s kingdom by teaching Spirit and Kingdom principles that can be applied locally to meet the needs of their community and church family.
New Wine does not insist on or promote one way of doing things nor advise everyone to use the same materials. Instead, we acknowledge our similarities and teach principles, allowing others to decide the most appropriate way to apply them in their areas of mission.
We seek fulfilment of our vision through:
Connecting church leaders
Gathering the New Wine family at United every summer
Training events
Resources
Focused mission areas
Our Values
Ministry in the power of the Spirit (John 5:19, 14:12)
Partnering with God through his Spirit in word, works and worship, with the expectation of seeing signs and wonders to confirm the teaching, for the benefit and building up of the Church.
Kingdom (Mark 1:14-15, Luke 4:18-21)
Addressing God’s concern for the poor by changing culture; being the light of the world beyond buildings and projects, wherever we are.
Family and relationships (Mark 3:13-15, 31-35)
Living our lives together both nationally and locally. This is our outworking; it’s how we do it. We are a family (and family can be messy and real) so we belong. Thanks to the network, we can be wherever we’re needed, to support and encourage one another. The local church is a central part of God’s plan to transform the world so we need to do it together.
