Strategy
Katie Wade heads up our Women’s Ministry. We gather women together in various settings to encourage and strengthen them in their unique callings.
We have an Oversight Group that seeks to support women leading churches, in whatever denomination they belong. In addition, there is an ordained representative for women in leadership in each of the six Leadership Network regions. Please contact Katie Wade for further information: katie.wade@new-wine.org
Events
Our annual Women’s Days are typically run in a northern and southern location and we encourage women to bring friends and family for a time of worship, teaching and prayer ministry. The speakers seek to inspire women to grow in their relationship with God and have confidence in how he might work in and through them in their homes, communities and workplaces. In addition to the national and regional leadership conferences, every two years we host a Women and Leadershipresidential conference for women whose lives are wrapped up in leadership in one way or another: women leading churches, and in training to lead in churches; women whose sphere of influence is in their work place; women leading alongside their husbands in churches; women leading ministries in churches and/or community groups. The conference is an opportunity for spiritual refreshment and strengthening for those who come, with opportunities to address issues specific to different contexts.
We run occasional events for women who are leading churches, in any denomination, to come and learn with a group of women experienced at leading in different contexts. The days are a mix of Plenary Sessions and Round Table discussions on a range of subjects, with worship and ministry.
Support & Mentoring
In each region, leaders are attending local gatherings for fellowship and support. Occasionally, leaders are keen to be mentored and New Wine is offering this in a group setting. If you have a specific request to be mentored around a particular issue, or if you would like information about mentoring groups running in your region please email your Regional Manager.
