Vicar
– St Michael’s Chester
We are seeking a new vicar to lead an evangelical church in Chester. St Michael’s is a welcoming, family-friendly church with a desire to see our congregation built up in their faith, and to reach our local community with the gospel.
We are looking for a vicar who:
· can engage with, love and care for all members of the congregation
· has a heart for outreach and can encourage us to connect with our local community
· is able to nurture and use the gifts of our congregation and our staff
· is a good listener and communicator
· is enthusiastic, energetic and can lead us forward
· has a passion for God’s word and making him known to others
· can help to develop our vision and discern God’s plan for our future life and mission, who will lead us to find new ways of growing the church and reaching the community with the gospel
· encourages us to walk with Jesus in everyday life, as well as on a Sunday
· is able to provide leadership on safeguarding and encouraging all to contribute to creating a safer church
